Showing gratitude can be practiced the whole month of November and today we are sharing two elementary Veteran’s Day crafts to start the month off on the right foot. Veteran’s Day is November 11 and many schools do a special event leading up to that day. Even if your school doesn’t have anything planned, it can be a lovely idea to hang these crafts around your school or even deliver them to a local VFW or veteran families.

Both of these crafts all students to practice their ever-growing writing skills. These simple writing activities make saying “thank you” easy, yet so meaningful! We love these Veteran’s Day activities because they are easy to print, prep and present. Add these to a Veteran’s Day lesson you may be planning or just have a information discussion with your students before creating these.
