Earth Day is April 22 every year so we are prepping with some fun crafts and writing for our students. The Earth gives us so much and we LOVE celebrating throughout the week with these Earth day activities. The two Earth Day craftivities you will find below are always loved by students and are low prep for teachers!
You can use this craft and writing activity to wrap up your Earth Day discussions or use it as a jumping point to begin your Earth Day celebration. Students create the Earth with a Band Aid craft (teachers choose between 2 different ways to assemble) and then choose between 2 writing prompts. It’s always such a treasure reading the creative and insightful ways students come up with to “heal” the Earth. This craft and writing Earth Day activity translates into the cutest Spring bulletin board! The blues and greens are perfect for end of the year bulletin board decor.
