It’s Super Bowl time and whether you’re into it or not, at least SOME of your students are invested or interested in the game! We LOVE following up on anything that the students are interested in the next day. This can be an important game or awards show or big event happening in the news. It’s even better when we can tie it into a lesson or discussion. Let’s talk goal setting!
This is a great last minute activity you can do the week leading up to the Super Bowl or the week after while the Super Bowl is fresh in your students’ minds! It’s never a bad time to discuss setting goals for yourself and how it relates to everyone (even football players!). Set some goals for the week, the quarter, the rest of the school year…whatever! This goal setting writing prompt can work for any grade level, plus Music, Physical Education, Language…ALL classrooms!
This football craft and writing activity makes the cutest bulletin board idea if you REALLY want to embrace the Super Bowl theme or you can save it for the Fall – it makes a super fun back to school bulletin board when you are discussing what you want to accomplish with your new students (plus it’s football season then)!
