It’s the first(ish) week of school and now is a great time to talk about goal-setting with your students, but you are stuck on how to start the conversation. We are here to help! Today we are going to share some fun ways to talk about setting goals with your elementary aged students. This can be such an effective way to get students motivated throughout the year. Of course we love that each of these activties can transition into a bulletin board or hallway display ! These activities will really stand out for any open houses or Meet the Teacher nights that you have coming up.
Option 1: Trucker Hat Craft and Bulletin Board Kit | Back to School | New Year | Hats Off
Your students will LOVE creating their own trucker hats! Start off the conversation with what goals they want to set for themselves this year or even just for the first quarter. There is a plain option to print so you can make your own prompt. End with a fun art activity and you will have some happy, motivated students!

Back to school means football season for lots of schools and this bulletin board will have you embracing the season! You will be sure to have at least some of your students’ attention with this fun, football-themed “goal setting” bulletin board. Students make the football craft and then can write how they will reach the goals they have set.
