Building community in your classroom has never been easier. We like to use these Class Community Anchor Charts to unify our class while sharing, discussing, and celebrating all sorts of life events! The resource we are sharing today has 4 different anchor charts that you can use as a bulletin board or just put on chart paper throughout your classroom.
Anchor Charts Included:
1. Daily Brew
2. Celebrate Success
3. Checking In
4. Highlight of the Week
There are so many benefits to putting effort into really developing bonds not only between teacher and students, but also between students. It builds positive connections and promotes collaboration inside and outside of the classroom. When you give lots of opportunities for students to engage with each other you are giving the best chance for each student to feel like they fit in. These anchor charts are meant to use all year long because building connections and community doesn’t just happen in the first few weeks of school. It is fostered throughout the whole year. You can pick one anchor chart to commit to the whole year or you can switch them out whenever you feel like it.

Bring your students closer together, learn more about your class, and have fun checking in with your mini community. Whether you are “checking in”, sharing your “highlight of the week”, celebrating your “successes” or just connecting during “daily brew”, your students will feel grounded and secure in the classroom. This will improve your classroom climate and overall school climate as well!
